This Christian Aid week, as well as our collections at church, congregation members Mary-Jannet and Harry will be taking part in the 70k in May challenge. Harry will run 10k a day across Christian Aid week – the distance from his home in north London to Crown Court in the West End – and M-J will cover the distance through her training for a 10k race in Hyde Park on 30th May!
Christian Aid does the most incredible work across the world, working with local partners to help people build brighter futures – growing food, earning incomes and standing up for justice. This year’s Christian Aid campaign is raising funds for mothers in Nairobi, Kenya, who face the devastating reality of urban poverty and the daily struggle to feed their children.
