Crown Court Church’s upcoming renewal project, A Kirk for Tomorrow, will deliver an accessible, sustainable building for congregational and community use, accessible and open to all. The project brochure below sets out our vision for our church, how the upcoming works will safeguard worship and community use, and summarises the project plan and costs of the project. We will update this page regularly over the coming months with news of fundraising and project progress.
Our community fundraising campaign target is £200,000, and we now invite all those who are members or friends of Crown Court Church to support the project in the form of pledges. If you are able to pledge, you can do so in several ways:
- By filling in this electronic version of our Pledge Form
- By returning the pledge form in the brochure to the Church Treasurer by e-mail at: fundraising@crowncourtchurch.com
- By returning the pledge form in the brochure to the Treasurer by post at Crown Court Church of Scotland, Russell Street, London, WC2B 5EZ.
If you have any questions at all about the project, please contact futures@crowncourtchurch.com.
Project Updates
Sunday 19th July 2026

Today, after morning worship, we gathered in the church hall for the fundraising campaign launch for A Kirk for Tomorrow! Mary-Jannet Leith and Ross Duguid, members of the Futures Committee, gave a short presentation about the project, explaining the principles and motivation behind it, the details of the project itself, and the fundraising targets we have set to meet the project shortfall. We enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions about the changes to the church, and to share fellowship over a picnic!
Do pick up a fundraising brochure when you’re in church, or download your own copy above – and pledge if you can!
